Alina Murzaeva

Alina Murzaeva is an international policy and strategic communications professional with more than 15 years of experience working across frontier, conflict, and post-conflict contexts globally. Her work focuses on emergency environments and complex political settings, supporting policy engagement, legal and political analysis, and strategic decision-making in periods of instability. Based in New York, she brings a global and comparative perspective to policy and leadership education, grounded in international politics, international law, and global affairs.

Throughout her career, Alina has collaborated with international organizations, policy experts, think tanks, global media, and political analysts across multiple regions, contributing to analysis and engagement on global positioning, geopolitical dynamics, and conflict- and crisis-related policy challenges. Her work has included direct engagement with decision-makers and senior stakeholders, helping organizations navigate high-stakes political environments, make informed strategic choices during emergencies and transitional periods, and teaching international law for more than five years.

At WPII, Alina supports policy education and leadership programs that expose participants to real-world global challenges and decision-making dynamics.
