Establishing a Scholarship

A WPII scholarship provides meaningful educational support to deserving students and young people who may otherwise face financial barriers to continuing their education. Establishing a named scholarship is a meaningful way to support a student's educational journey while creating a lasting connection between your name, your values, and the opportunity you are helping provide.

A named scholarship may be established to honor or memorialize a loved one, recognize a family member, support a particular educational goal, or simply invest in the future of a deserving student.

Create a Named Scholarship

Donors may establish a scholarship in their name or in the name of an individual, family, organization, or loved one.

WPII carefully screens scholarship applicants to assess genuine financial need and educational circumstances. Scholarship recipients are selected independently by WPII in accordance with its scholarship policies, charitable mission, and applicable requirements.

The scholarship may be renewable annually, subject to the availability of funds, the student's continued eligibility, and WPII's scholarship policies. Renewal is reviewed on an annual basis and is not automatically guaranteed.

The name associated with the scholarship will remain in use while the scholarship is active and adequately funded. If the scholarship is not renewed, funds are exhausted, the program is discontinued, or circumstances otherwise require its discontinuation, WPII reserves the right to discontinue the scholarship and its associated naming.

How Scholarship Funds Are Used

Scholarship contributions are used to support educational opportunities for qualified students. A reasonable portion of the contribution may also be used to cover administrative and operational expenses associated with the scholarship, including application processing, financial-need screening, verification, recipient administration, monitoring, recordkeeping, and related program expenses.

WPII retains responsibility for the administration of all scholarship funds and for the selection of scholarship recipients.

Renew Your Scholarship

WPII scholarships may be renewed annually. Donors who wish to continue a named scholarship may renew their contribution each year, subject to the terms of the applicable scholarship agreement.

If a scholarship is not renewed or sufficient funds are no longer available, WPII may discontinue the scholarship and its associated name.

WPII welcomes contributions of all sizes to support educational opportunities and existing scholarship initiatives.
